We thank outstanding local
photographer Chris Hall for his copyrighted image of a lunar eclipse
over the Dardanelles in our rotating sequence of images at the top of
each page. Chris Hall and Arnold's Dick James' great copyrighted work

Who Built the Black Bear Inn?
Our guests often ask about the Inn's construction
methods. We used the excellent craftspeople of
Owl Ridge Timber Framing located in British Columbia. They
transformed our ideas and the architect's plans into a work of art.
Our outstanding contractor was
Jason Jarman
of
J. Jarman Construction of Angels Camp,
who brought all the elements together to create a environment
that
our
guests truly enjoy and we’re very proud of.
